WHO AM I?

"A self-described attention seeker with no self preservation instincts"

Siân started as a ballerina at age 3 - she's danced for as long as she could move. She cut her teeth in theatres with ballet companies, and then discovered burlesque, circus and street theatre.

Two decades and thousands of shows later she's a full-time touring showgal, and you can catch her hopping between seasons with circus, sideshow, and cabaret acts all around the country (often appearing at Perth + Adelaide Fringe Festivals, among many more).

Lately, she's toured the country with her sideshow, fire, and burlesque acts and has produced solo, group, and interactive entertainment for large-scale events including Woodford Folk Festival (2022/23), Canberra Circus Festival (2022/23), Dragon Dreaming Festival (2016/17/18), Rainbow Serpent Festival (2019), Defqon.1 (2017/18) and the National Folk Festival (2019/22/23).

Siân is the 2021 National Runner Up (and ACT state title holder) of Burlesque Muse and 2021 Winner of The Apprentease A.C.T. She was also a finalist in Mx Burlesque NSW (2022) - Australia's premiere burlesque competition.

Constantly creating and travelling (at terminal velocity), Siân is currently featuring as a swing in Rouge (Highwire Productions). She co-produces Sideshow Self-Indulgence (Canberra Circus Festival 2023) and Dressed To Kill: A Kiss Cabaret (★★★★★ Adelaide Fringe 2024, NAFA 2023), is a regular featured artist in rock’n’roll variety romp Wild Side (★★★★★ Adelaide Fringe 2023/24, Best Premier and Best Cabaret in Newcastle Fringe 2022) and often found appearing on the lineups for national treasure cabaret shows including Shake It (SA, VIC), Inferno (★★★★★ Adelaide Fringe 2024), Royal Heart Revue (NSW), Red Light Confidential (★★★★✩ Fringeworld Perth 2023, NSW/VIC), and many, many more.

When she's not on the road, Siân resides in Naarm (Melbourne). You can find her all over town, either performing at her resident cabaret Speakeasy Theatre or featuring as an artist on one of the many other exceptional shows hosted by Naarm local favourites.

The definition of a show junkie - when she's not stomping her way down a stage Siân takes her show to the streets. Her comedy-danger street show has taken her from Hobart to Townsville and everywhere in between. Her home pitch is Southbank, Naarm - and you can find her summoning joy there every sunshiney day that she's not on the road. Most recently, Siân was awarded Best Newcomer at Adelaide Fringe 2024.

Whether she’s swallowing swords, playing with fire, stomping on glass or standing on nails: it’s always a spectacle when this freakshow femme sets fire to the footlights.
